Letter to Patients Following CQC Inspection
We are writing to inform you of the outcome of a recent Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection that was carried out at Highley Medical Centre and to tell you what we are doing to address its findings.
As a result of this inspection, we regret to report that the practice has been placed in special measures. Whilst this is hugely disappointing it does enable us to access the support needed to improve the services we provide.
Before all else, we would like to reassure our patients and service users that we are taking this rating very seriously and are fully committed to improving the service we provide to you.

We were really pleased to read the exciting news about the Covid-19 vaccine being approved for use. Because of the nature of the vaccine and the logistics of getting it delivered, initially not all GP surgeries will deliver it from their buildings.
We are delighted to say that Bridgnorth Medical Practice one of the practices within our Primary Care Network group has been approved to deliver the vaccination, with our Doctors helping out from their premises. We will receive the first vaccine next week.
We will ring people in the Government's priority order, to book the appointments; please DO NOT ring us. Separate arrangements will be made for our housebound patients and residents in care homes. Please keep an eye on our Website where we will post regular updates. Thank you.

Call Monday to Friday between 8am to 5pm
To commence from Wednesday 21st November 2018
Patients register with the practice rather than with particular doctor. If you do have a preference of which GP you see this can be recorded when you register. You can also ask to see a particular doctor when making an appointment. This will be accommodated where possible, but it may mean waiting longer for an appointment.
